TREE GROWTH REGULATORS
| New technology and tree
growth regulators (TGRs) may make them a viable
tool for arborists who are interested in
prolonging pruning cycles, saving landfill space
and minimizing pruning wounds. The hormone
regulator can either be injected into the trunk
of a tree or into the soil to reduce the overall
growth of the tree. It is beneficial when used in
an urban landscape, especially when trees are
growing under power lines, close to buildings and
in tight spaces. |
